Family Fun

My mom, Mark, and Aunt Linda came in this weekend for Reese's baptism. It was only a three night visit but it was so fun to see all of them. Everyone arrived on Thursday. I had new hire orientation so Jason and Bailey did the honors of picking everyone up at the airport. Thursday night we went out for Mexican food - yummy! Friday I had orientation again so the girls stayed home and got spoiled rotten. I let them use my van and they all came to check out my room when they came to pick me up. Friday night Aunt Linda made her FABULOUS manacotti and we had a surprise birthday party for my mom (her actual birthday is the 22nd).

Saturday was the big day! The baptism was beautiful! Godmommy Linda and Godfather Christian were so proud as were Daddy, Bailey, & I. Also in attendance were Kathy, Mary Fischer, and Kelly Murphy with her girls, Ashley & Megan. We had lunch at our house following the baptism. It was wonderful having everyone together to celebrate Reese's special day. Kathy was our super awesome photographer for the day so as soon as I get her pictures, I will post some of the baptism. For now, here are just a few pictures of the family fun we had! Unfortunately, it came to an end very early today. We miss them already.

We so appreciate everyone who attended the baptism. It means the world to Jason and I.

Reese is 6 Months Old!

Reese is 6 months old today. We cannot believe how quickly it has gone. She is sitting up and rolling over now. Her latest is that she babbles like crazy. Just like her mom, she has a love of talking. She goes around saying "dadadada" and yelling like her big sister. This is such a fun age.

We went to take pictures yesterday. Bailey wanted to be in the pictures so of course we let her. As you can see, it was clearly the best picture session yet. The girls were in such a great mood. Bailey says her "very favorite" is the one of Reese sitting on her. (It's my favorite, too.)

Today we got to visit Dr. Muzumdar for Reese's 6 month appointment. She went in all smiles and left mad as could be. She got 3 shots and an oral vaccine. The oral vaccine was fine. She loves putting everything in her mouth anyway. It's the shots she was not happy about. She was so emotionally spent after the visit that she took a two hour nap after the doctor and went to be at 7:10 pm tonight. Poor baby!

The latest on our baby is that she weighs 21 pounds, 6.4 ounces (still off the chart) and is 26 1/4" long (75th percentile). She is still our little chunky monkey and we are so blessed to have her.

She will be getting baptized on Saturday so I'll have pictures on that soon. With her stranger anxiety, I imagine it'll be a very interesting event.
